Analytical Lab

NuMega Resonance Labs

An established San Diego NMR / mass-spec analytical lab (founded 1993) that appears as the issuing lab on dozens of curated-vendor COAs. Real accredited-style analytical shop, but no public COA-verification portal.

What we can verify now

NuMega Resonance Labs (11526 Sorrento Valley Rd, San Diego, CA) is a real analytical laboratory founded in 1993, running two 500 MHz Bruker NMR spectrometers plus mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, and polarimetry for structure confirmation and purity analysis of small molecules, peptides, and other compounds.

We see NuMega named on a substantial number of curated-vendor COAs (~67, concentrated in Kimera Chems’ archive) — its reports are H-1 NMR spectra rather than the HPLC-purity reports most other labs in this graph produce, which makes it a useful cross-method data point.

Verification status

No public COA-verification lookup was located: NuMega provides contract NMR/analytical services to clients, but a reader cannot paste a code into a NuMega site and pull a specific certificate. So a NuMega COA is a named, real-lab document — stronger than a bare “third-party tested” claim, but verified by the lab’s identity and letterhead, not an independent code lookup.

Catalog note

These COAs were briefly mislabeled internally as “Northern Microanalytics” — an incorrect expansion of the NM filename code on Kimera’s certificates. The COAs themselves (“NUMEGA”, NMR spectra) confirm the lab is NuMega Resonance Labs; the mapping has been corrected.
