Alpha Pro Peptides is now a curated vendor on PeptideBenchmark. The reason is not a customer testimonial or a marketing claim. It is the amount of inspectable material we could test: a 100-product storefront, public prices, repeat-purchase discounts, and a set of product-linked certificates that could be checked against the issuing laboratory.

This is our independent evidence review of what held up, what remains limited, and how Alpha Pro fits into the benchmark.

The short version

Alpha Pro has a stronger public document trail than a storefront that merely says “third-party tested.” We captured 35 unique Freedom Diagnostics certificates across 36 exact product relationships, and each vendor-hosted PDF matched the corresponding file on the laboratory’s own COA host. The reports consistently identified Alpha Pro Peptides as the client and included HPLC purity, mass identity, and net-content results.

The limits matter just as much. Those reports did not include sterility, endotoxin, or heavy-metals panels. The legacy “Amino Science” portion of the catalog did not expose the same product-level certificate widgets. One current 50mg GLP-3 product page also reused a certificate labeled 30mg.

Our conclusion is therefore deliberately narrower than “safe” or “verified”: Alpha Pro has a real, provider-checkable certificate layer across much of its current vial line, with meaningful panel and coverage gaps that readers should see before interpreting the green badges.

What we found in the catalog

Our discovery pass found 100 public products:

The 77 promoted rows included 49 current Alpha Pro products and 28 legacy Amino Science products. We keep that distinction because the commercial and testing surfaces are not identical. A product being visible in the catalog does not automatically mean that it has an attributable current COA.

The COA chain: what was actually verified

The strongest finding came from following the full evidence path:

1. An Alpha Pro product page exposed a certificate widget.
2. The widget linked to a vendor-hosted Freedom Diagnostics PDF.
3. The report identifier resolved to a corresponding PDF on Freedom Diagnostics’ provider-controlled host.
4. The vendor and provider copies matched byte-for-byte.
5. The report’s client name, product context, lot/report identifiers, purity, identity, and net-content fields were retained in the PB record.

That is materially stronger than a screenshot with a laboratory logo. It gives readers a second, provider-controlled route for checking whether the report exists in the form presented by the vendor.

What the reports covered

Across the 35 unique reports:

• 35 included HPLC purity
• 35 included mass identity
• 35 included net content
• 0 included sterility
• 0 included endotoxin
• 0 included heavy metals

The average reported purity was approximately 99.70%. That is a document-level aggregate, not proof that every unit sold has the same result. It also should not be mistaken for microbiological safety: high purity and correct mass identity answer different questions from sterility, endotoxin, or metals testing.

The GLP-3 50mg mismatch

Alpha Pro’s current GLP-3 50mg page reused a certificate whose labeled quantity was 30mg. The document itself is real and provider-checkable; the problem is its relationship to the 50mg product context.

PeptideBenchmark does not discard that relationship or quietly relabel the certificate. We preserve it, show the compared quantities, and flag it as a reviewed product-certificate mismatch. Unless a 50mg-specific certificate is published, the 30mg report should not be read as evidence for a 50mg labeled product.

This is why the COA database stores product relationships separately from certificate authenticity. A genuine report can still be attached to the wrong dosage, batch, or product.

Pricing, quantity tiers, and the temporary BOGO

Alpha Pro’s audited standing quantity tiers were:

• 3 of the same product: 5% off
• 5 or more of the same product: 10% off

On July 27, the storefront was also running a time-limited “Christmas in July” buy-one-get-one-free promotion across eligible current Alpha Pro products. The cart pass showed that it stacked with the same-product quantity tiers and counted paid units for the tier. Legacy Amino Science products were excluded from that BOGO.

That promotion is not an evergreen part of this review. PB’s optimizer will only apply it while the promotion profile remains fresh; the model fails closed after its refresh window rather than continuing to advertise a stale sale.

The shipping threshold is inconsistent

We found two public thresholds:

• The storefront banner said free shipping at $150.
• The formal shipping policy said free shipping over $199.

PeptideBenchmark conservatively models $199 and keeps shipping outside the normalized item-price ranking. That prevents a lower promotional banner from being treated as settled policy when the vendor’s own pages disagree.

Why the score is Moderate

As of this review, the Alpha Pro vendor profile displayed a PB score of about 5.3 and a Moderate testing trust band.

That does not mean the Freedom reports failed verification—they did not. It reflects the entire evidence surface:

• a meaningful provider-verifiable certificate layer;
• coverage concentrated in the current Alpha Pro vial line;
• no sterility, endotoxin, or heavy-metals panels in the reviewed reports;
• a reviewed quantity mismatch;
• no outside Finnrick, Peptide Critic, Trustpilot, or Pep Review Pro score feeding the record at the time of review.

Bottom line

Alpha Pro Peptides earned curated coverage because the public evidence was substantial enough to inspect, preserve, and challenge. Its best feature is the repeatable Freedom Diagnostics verification path across the current vial line. Its most important limitations are equally concrete: only three of six standard panel categories appeared, the legacy catalog lacked the same certificate surface, and the GLP-3 50mg relationship needs a dosage-matched report.
